The Bundt Cake of your Dreams



This simple, rich, delicious, cake topped with a lovely fudgy frosting is always sure to please! The frosting alone is downright  amazing. This is my most favorite cake, I have yet to find one that tops it! Always the birthday cake of request in our family! I promise you will love this!


Here’s what you need;

1 store bought devils food chocolate cake mix
1 small instant store bought chocolate pudding (don’t prepare the pudding, just use the powder)
1 cup sour cream
¾ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup water
4 eggs


Mix well at low speed at for 3-5 minutes
Bake in a liberally greased bundt pan for 40 minutes at 325 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.


For the frosting;
½ cup butter
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbs milk


Over low heat melt butter, whisking together with cocoa powder. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. If too thick, add 1-2 tbs milk. Beat until smooth, about 3 minutes. Pour over warm cake.
